I think I'm having one of those 'the world is tumbling down on me' moments, but good god why is everything in life so expensive?

I feel like I'm constantly trying to skrimp and save, but I always end up near-penniless a fair while before pay day! I always do really careful food shops, I was careful and saved money on my home and motor insurance from LV=, and got the cheapest energy prices for my flat that I could by comparing online.

But somehow, between bills and direct debits, tax and student finance payments I feel like I barely have anything left. Forget having a social life, I rarely go out with my friends any more, instead I try and get them to visit me for dinner or a glass of wine so I don't have to pay expensive pub prices!

I think I need three jobs to be able to afford to live!
